Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Full Charge Bookkeeper located in Blaine, MN. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for daily bookkeeping tasks such as preparing financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting, recording journal entries, general ledger and preparing ledger entries, reconciliations, processing payrolls and payroll taxes, and performing general accounting duties. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as a team-player with strong communication skills and the right candidate must have extensive knowledge of QuickBooks®.
Qualifications
- Three years' experience in Bookkeeping, Accounting and Payroll
- Proficiency in using bookkeeping software, such as QuickBooks®
- Experience managing multiple clients including on-boarding new clients
- Experience in financial statement preparation and analysis, journal entries, and bookkeeping
- Knowledge of payroll taxes and general accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience with workflow management and time sheet tracking
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience in the finance or accounting industry is a plus
- High school or equivalent (a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required)
- Must be authorized to work in the US and pass a background
