Fuel Cell Developer
Summary:
Join a dynamic team as a Fuel Cell Developer at a prestigious global automotive company located in Torrance, CA. This role is at the forefront of expanding innovative Fuel Cell applications, driving the company towards Carbon Neutrality. The Advanced Power Unit and Energy division is responsible for conducting demonstrations to explore the technology's and business's potential, utilizing the fuel cell system developed in Japan. This position not only supports new business opportunities but also contributes to achieving Carbon Neutrality by implementing these solutions in internal operations.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the R&D team in Japan and local development teams in the U.S. to support Fuel Cell application development.
- Lead the integration of fuel cell systems into OEM and internal applications, focusing on hands-on mechanical engineering tasks.
- Engage in communication with potential customers, demonstrating the capabilities of fuel cell technology.
- Obtain certification of stationary fuel cell generator for demonstration
- Collaborate on cross-functional teams to address interface and integration challenges, especially in high-voltage systems.
Required Skillset:
- 2+ years of experience in Fuel Cell Development.
- Proficient in CAD software, especially CATIA V5 (knowledge of V6 is a plus), and MATLAB.
- Experience in project leadership or supporting leaders.
- Proficient PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and other technical software
- BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Bonus Skillset:
- Experience in the commercial generator industry.
Type: Fulltime/ Direct Hire
Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid schedule and relocation assistance provided for eligible candidates)
Salary Range: $97,100 - 140,000k DOE
