Knox County Sheriffs Office is accepting applications for a Full Time Jailer/Dispatcher/911 Operator.
Both male and female applicants will be considered.
Applicants must be 19 years of age, have a High School Diploma, typing and computer knowledge, and talking on telephone and radio clearly is required. Applicant must work well with general public, co-employees, and guests at the jail. Flexible work schedule will include nights, weekends and Holidays. Applicant must be physically able to complete self-defense training at Law Enforcement Training Center in Grand Island, NE.
Starting wage is $20.92 an hour, with $1.50 an hour increase upon completion of training.
Benefits include full paid family plan insurance, PTO, uniform allowance, retirement plan.
