Position Details:
Title: Field Service Representative - Medical Analyzers
Location: San Antonio, TX
Shift: Day Shift, M-F
Compensation: $75K - $85K+ base depending on experience and qualifications plus performance bonus!
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Vacation, Sick, and Holiday Pay. Additionally, you will receive allowance for clothing and new work boots each year. A company cellphone is provided. Mileage reimbursement or company vehicle provided.
Travel: Expect 30% within region
Position Description:
Company is seeking an experienced Field Service Representative primarily in NY and Long Island with some surrounding Territory. Our Field Service Representative travels to customer locations and provides on-site service, maintenance and training of company Medical instrumentation. The right candidate will be able to perform the following essential job functions and has the listed qualifications:
Travels to customer sites to install, repair or perform PM on medical laboratory
Travels to customer sites to install, repair or perform PM on medical laboratory
Conducts troubleshooting via phone and onsite
May periodically assist in training other technicians on specific
Installs laboratory equipment and trains lab Performs regularly scheduled PMs onsite. Tests and calibrates analyzers and other equipment used in quality control.
Able to prepare service reports, weekly logs and expense
Keeps management informed of service results, customer relationship issues, and updates in customer laboratory policies or practices / topics which may be helpful to
Provides quality customer service and promotes MLS benefits and/or additional
Monitors, organizes, and maintains inventory on parts and consumables for car
Requirements:
AA Degree or certification from a technical
Previous experience working with hematology, relevant analyzer equipment or medical instrumentation with at least two years of electronics experience preferred.
Hematology and Chemistry experience
Medical Technologist (MT) a
Ability to effectively and professionally deal with customers and co-workers as evidenced by two or more years of customer/field service-related experience.
Ability to work with little or no direct
Ability to efficiently and accurately perform installations and repairs on scientific instruments and willingness to learn company instruments.
Needs to be able to think on their feet and troubleshoot complex scenarios
Experience with Microsoft Office application and general computer skills
Good communications skills
Must be able to routinely lift 50
