Assist in managing day-to-day hotel operations by maximizing financial returns, driving the development of people, creating and maintaining a unique guest experience, executing on brand standards, and building awareness of the hotel and brand in the local community. Act as General Manager in his/her absence.

- Assist the Manager in the development, implementation, and monitoring of financial and operational plans for the hotel. Provide regular direction and manage hotel operations for all departments.
- Assist the Manager with recording and inputting credit card purchases and petty cash purchases into the Hotel’s Google Drive Folder.
- Make recommendations for capital improvements to enhance the assets of the hotel and/or company and brand loyalty.
- Assist in the completion of EOM reports each month by its specified due date.
- Manage day-to-day operational activities, plan and assign work and establish performance and development goals for team members.
- Is the direct report for all front desk and shuttle staff and reviews that all checklists are being completed by each employee.
- Ensure that the schedule does not exceed the allotted payroll budget and that staff time is being managed.
- Consistently communicate with Management on situations and operational issues that might arise and also ensure that the front desk and housekeeping are always working on the same page.
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to help manage conflict, improve team member performance, and recognize good performance.
