Garden of the Gods Resort & Spa in Colorado Springs is looking for a qualified Front Office Manager to direct the overall operation of the Front Office, including Concierge, Reservations, Front Desk, Guest Services, and Telephone Operations.Essential Functions:Review all schedules, purchase requests, and purchase orders, following budget and staff requirements.Implements policies and procedures consistent with company policies. Ensures the welfare and comfort of guests.Performs Human Resource functions for staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance.Develops operating / training manuals and keeps them up to date for the Front Desk, Telephone Operators, Guest Services, and Concierge Desk.Reviews payroll expenditures to be budgeted and approved based on guidelines. Reviews and reports on daily, weekly, and monthly payroll expenses. Reports on weekly and monthly direct expenses.Maintains the integrity of the Front Office records in the computer systems and call account systems.Attends management team meetings. Communicates decisions and appropriate information to Front Office staff.Handles and resolves major guest complaints.Develops action plans to correct department errors.Organize monthly Front Office staff meeting covering training topics. Represents the Front Office in pre-convention meetings. Communicates needs to departments.Actively takes part in the Manager on Duty programRequirements:Requires advanced knowledge of specialized or technical field or a thorough knowledge of the practices and techniques of a professional field. May require knowledge of policies and procedures, and the ability to determine a course of action based on these guidelines.This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school education and a minimum of five years job-related experience.
