Callaway Gardens Lodge & Spa is seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. The Front Desk Supervisor serves as the first point of contact for all guests and is responsible for providing information, checking guests in and out, handling payments, and ensuring excellent guest service. The Front Desk Supervisor must display a professional appearance, have excellent communication and computer skills, and enjoy working with people.

Responsibilities:

• Provide information and recommendations to guests on activities and dining in the surrounding area.
• Check guests in and out of the Lodge and Spa, collect payments, and reconcile transactions.
• Ensure a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with guests.
• Provide excellent guest service and handle any requests or concerns in a timely manner.
• Supervise front desk team members and ensure efficient operations.
• Administer payments and maintain records of receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness in the front desk and lobby area.
• Monitor inventory of front desk supplies and ensure adequate replenishment.
• Maintain knowledge of current packages and rates.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and prepare reports for staff.
• Administer staff performance and prepare communication logs for guests.
• Manage and process guest mail.
• Train new front desk associates on proper procedures and systems.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Opera PMS, Word, and Excel software is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.
• Hotel or resort experience is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent guest service and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow standard operating procedures.
• Supervisory experience in a front desk or hospitality setting is preferred.
