In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and welcoming atmosphere of our dental office front desk. You will report directly to the Office Manager and be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff and patient relations, and achieving key goals.
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - (Cliffside) 8:45am-6:00pm Wednesday, Friday - (Lodi)- 8:45am -6:00pm
Location: Cliffside Park, NJ
Responsibilities:- Ensure all office staff arrive ready to work: on time and in proper uniform.
- Maintain office schedules, following company policies and procedures
- Ensure that front office staff members are following CDH office policies and front desk operational procedures
- Assist with marketing, and promotional programs to support new patient growth
- Directly supervise the front office team and proactively manage their performance and development including but not limited to, performance feedback, corrective actions, and appraisals
- Regularly communicate with the front office teams to ensure they have the tools, support, and information necessary to perform their jobs effectively and deliver superior patient care
- Complete administrative tasks such as reports, bank deposits, revenue postings, staff payroll, accounts receivable reports, and invoice processing within the designated deadlines
- Review, fix errors, and approve all designated employee’s timecards each day. Ensure all timecards are approved before the payroll cycle
- Assist with interviewing and hire individuals capable of providing the best patient care
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a lead or supervisor position, preferably in a dental office.
- Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well with doctors, patients, employees and others
- Knowledge of dental terminology and computer systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Motivated and willing to learn on the job
