Front Desk Receptionist - Gpac

My client recently opened a position for a Front Desk Receptionist in their established optometry practice. In this position, you will be responsible for various office duties and will contribute to providing a positive experience for patients in office.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting and welcoming visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Answering phone calls, taking messages, and directing calls to the appropriate person or department
• Scheduling appointments
• Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
• Providing general clerical support to the team
• Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages
• Maintaining a clean and organized reception area

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in a front desk receptionist position
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Customer-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
