Currently, we have a Front Desk Receptionist/Assistant opportunity with our local credit union client. We are seeking a professional and personable candidate to join their team on a temporary, with potential for temp-to-hire basis. 30+ hours per week.
Essential Functions:
- Provide service and support to members, other departments, and co-workers.
- Greet members, vendors and staff as they arrive for training and/or meetings. Accept, sort and distribute U.S. mail, UPS and FedEx packages.
- Maintain office supplies and kitchen supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.
- Serve as liaison between company employees and outside contractors; i.e. janitorial, snack vendors, pest control, HVAC, security, WM, etc. Coordinates preventive maintenance on equipment and assists branch staff by calling for repairs as needed.
- Sort and post incoming mail. Post checks for other departments. Prep outgoing mail. Prepare the courier bags for delivery to the branches and sort the items in the incoming bags.
- Maintain the reception area’s cleanliness and ensure it is well-organized and welcoming.
- Provide general information about credit union services, hours, and processes.
- Complete Verification of Deposits and SSI Asset Verifications.
- Assist with data entry, record-keeping, and database updates.
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed; including special projects, as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Requires education equivalent to a four-year high school education or general education degree (GED). Some post-secondary education preferred.
- Ability to communicate over the phone and in writing including complaint resolution, settling disputes, resolving grievances and conflicts, and otherwise negotiating with others.
- Knowledge of PC applications including Word and Excel required. Experience with an automated core banking system preferred.
- Intermediate mathematical skills required (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.) .
Pay Rate Range : $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
