Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Part-Time Float Front Desk Coordinator for its Mammography offices at a practices in Las Vegas, NV.
The Front Desk Coordinator engages patients in a pleasant, professional, and timely manner, being sensitive to guest services. Conducts patient/guarantor interviews, explains financial responsibilities, and collection of monies due. Handles all routine patient inquiries related to the registration process. Ensures all necessary demographic and financial data is obtained and accurately documented in the patient EMR system. Identifies appropriate payor source for routing revenue generated during the patient visit. Ensures any pre-certification and/or authorization is obtained to meet individual payor payment authorization protocols. Submits claims for mammography services. Assist mammography technologist with the distribution of mammography reports and other duties as necessary. Follows HIPAA guidelines at all times.

Office Hours: Monday-Friday 7 am -4 pm.
7481 W Lake Mead Blvd Ste 110 Las Vegas, NV 89128.
Office Hours: Monday-Wednesday 8 am - 5 pm, Thursday and Friday 7 am - 4 pm
Work Schedule: Fridays at Meadows, 2 days at Lake Mead and additional coverage as needed.
Responsibilities
Register patient demographics and financial data. Enter all necessary information for billing purposes. Collect deductibles, copays, and payments of non-covered services to ensure collectability of accounts. Assist technologist with results distribution. Contact patients and providers as necessary.
Additional Job Functions:
- Attend Unified and UMAMS meetings
- Complete all assigned compliance and education requirements
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Minimum 1-year experience as a medical receptionist or front office clerk
- Minimum 2 years experience in medical billing
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Previous experience working in an OB/GYN environment is highly desirable
- Proficient in eClinicalWorks is highly desirable
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
