Location: Fully on site in Gaithersburg, MD
Compensation: $20-$22 per hour based upon experience
Type: Permanent opportunities with a comprehensive benefits package
Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm Monday through Friday
Primary Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and assist clients, visitors, and staff with a professional demeanor.
- Handle incoming phone calls by answering, screening, and forwarding them to the appropriate contacts.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports as needed.
- Manage mail and package deliveries, ensuring timely processing and distribution.
- Monitor and replenish office and kitchen supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Organize and maintain both physical and digital files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Update and manage client information in internal databases.
- Provide logistical support for events, seminars, and meetings, including arranging materials and refreshments.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion, adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Ensure compliance with office protocols, especially during peak periods.
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
- Participate in projects aimed at enhancing office processes and efficiency.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of receptionist or administrative experience within a professional setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
- MS Office Suite or similar software experience.
- SOME OVERTIME REQUIRED during peak periods.
