The Tropicana and Camelot Inn & Suites are seeking friendly, fun and energetic Front Desk Clerks! Full-Time positions available. Both hotels are located in Anaheim, directly across the street from Disneyland's Main Entrance.
Position Summary
Handles hotel front desk matters and handles in-person and telephone guest and customer interactions. Ensures that the highest level of guest satisfaction is met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: the Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for ensuring that the hotels' guests receive superior customer service and have their needs met.
Job Summary
- This position requires morning and evening shift work. Responsible for interactions with principles, guests, team members and Sales/Marketing to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
- Follows 'Front Desk Operational Guidelines'.
- Create a positive work environment by maintaining the highest level of ethics and integrity consistent with applicable regulatory standards and company values.
- Command a presence of respect and humility; demonstrating the ability to motivate and readily communicate expectations and follow up.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years customer service experience.
- Aptitude and familiarity with computers and Microsoft Office software.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and a cordial attitude towards all guests and staff members.
- Must be able to effectively deal with principles, guest or team member concerns by telephone or in person in a professional manner.
- Able to handle the stress of high customer demand in a hospitality environment.
- Requires good communication skills and the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Must be able to easily and frequently change from one activity to another.
- Must use good judgment in effectively providing services personally or to know when to immediately refer requests to the appropriate department manager for action.
