The Front Desk Agent ("Agente de Recepción") welcomes our guests with a warm and friendly smile. Handles guest arrivals and departures in a courteous and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Proactively provides our guests with personal service and attention that exceeds their expectations.
- Plays a key role in ensuring that all guest needs are met in a timely manner by interacting and communicating closely with other departments in the hotel.
- Continuously provides excellent customer service when making reservations and uses effective up-selling techniques.
- Maintains a house bank and conforms to established cash handling procedures.
- Processes guest billing using cash, checks, credit cards and special billing.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 3-12 months of relevant experience and/or training. If no educational background, at least 1 year.
- Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
- Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
- Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
- Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Experience in dealing with the public is preferred, such as retail cashier, food industry service, guest service with public contacts, etc.
- The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section 2810.8 and San Diego Municipal Code 311.0101 et. seq.
