Summary
The
Essential Functions
- Tender accept/reject loads, creates loads, sets appointments, dispatches, tracks and traces loads, root cause problem solves issues, and resolves/communicates to carrier and/or customer as appropriate
- Identifies and Develops relationships with transportation providers to ensure adequate coverage to maximize penetration of customer freight portfolio through soliciting capacity

- Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling of coverage for loads to ensure proper all customer's needs are met in the agreed upon time period
Additional Responsibilities
- Continuous improvement in all segments of the business
- Schedules and dispatches while ensuring compliance of Federal, State, and Local regulations. Responsible for timely updating of load statuses to the TMS.
- Maintain a positive employee related climate and maintain a customer satisfaction index at a World Class Level while having availability 24/7/365 for responsibilities
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Understanding of assigned customer, customer product and distribution requirements intermediate required
Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED required
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Transportation Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field
- Three (3) years or more business experience required
- Working knowledge of Transportation Industry, carrier modes & services and basic Supply Chain design and functionalityadvanced required
- Knowledge and support of RIL policies and procedures advanced required
- Demonstrated PC skills in MS Access, Excel, Word. Clear understanding of SMS legacy system intermediate required
- Understanding of assigned customer, customer product and distribution requirements intermediate required

Compensation Information :
The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc.
Compensation ranges for the position are below:
Pay Type :
Salaried
Minimum Pay Range:
$45,000
Maximum Pay Range:
$50,000
The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
