Currently, they are looking to add a Freelance Women’s Designer – Wovens to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$35/hr – $40/hr
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced temp Freelance Women’s Designer – Wovens with a strong background in wovens, particularly jackets, outerwear, and related categories. This role focuses heavily on the technical aspects of design, including sketching, creating development tech packs, and working within PLM systems.
Responsibilities of the Freelance Women’s Designer – Wovens:
- Create detailed technical sketches and specifications for woven garments, with a focus on jackets and outerwear.
- Develop and manage tech packs in PLM, ensuring accuracy and alignment with design and production needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and development, to ensure seamless execution of designs.
- Assist in the review and revision of prototypes, ensuring all technical details meet brand standards.
- Support the team in maintaining timelines and deadlines for multiple projects.
Qualifications for the Freelance Women’s Designer – Wovens:
- Proven experience in women’s design, with a focus on wovens (jackets and outerwear experience required).
- Strong technical skills, including sketching, technical design, and tech pack creation.
- Proficiency in PLM systems and other design tools/software.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
