We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Freelance Director, Strategy to join our fast-paced marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans, overseeing digital media initiatives, and leveraging data analytics to drive business growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, a strong background in digital media, and a proven track record in a strategic leadership role within an advertising agency environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to effectively reach the target audience and promote our brand, products, and services.
2. Oversee digital media strategies, including social media, website, email marketing, and content marketing, to ensure alignment with the overall marketing strategy.
3. Utilize data and analytics to identify trends, measure performance, and provide actionable insights to drive marketing effectiveness.
4. Present data-driven reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of complex information.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies and initiatives.
6. Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
7. Stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions and maintain our competitive edge.
8. Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with our marketing strategy.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a strategic leadership role within the marketing industry, preferably within an advertising agency environment.
3. Proven experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies, with a strong focus on digital media.
4. Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and its marketing dynamics.
5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and marketing effectiveness.
6. Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
7. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
8. Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and digital media.
10. Proven experience in managing relationships with external partners and vendors.
