City Bean Roasters, LA pioneers of specialty coffee since 1992, is a busy 75% wholesale and 25% direct-to-consumer roasting works company. The facility houses two vintage Probat roasters. City Bean specializes in providing delicious coffee and tea to restaurants, hotels, bakeries, and specialty coffee shops, in addition to other roasting operations (private label, toll roasting and co-roasting). The company website sells beans, subscriptions, etc. and we operate a retail shop at the roastery (not a cafe). You will notice early on in the hiring process, that the culture at City Bean is different. Job DescriptionCity Bean Roasters is looking to add to our team with this marketing-focused growth position. Candidates would start in Q1 2025 with an ongoing 8-10 freelance hours weekly to assist our leadership team with brand strategy and related goals, with the intent of expanding the role to additional freelance hours or formal part-time employment (20-25 hrs / week minimum) into Q2 2025 and beyond.
