About the Job
WongDoody is looking for a freelance Bookkeeper. You will work closely with our growing team tracking and reporting financial details to Finance and Leadership. Initially you will be using Excel heavily with the potential to including additional finance systems. The right candidate will have strong organization skills as well as a keen eye for details. Days can be filled with tracking and creating new reports, monitoring purchase orders and budgets, forecasting trends and costs, or even working with our team to optimize and streamline our processes. This role has the potential to grow in a growing service that we offer to our client.
What You'll Do:
- Data Entry: Input data accurately into Excel and accounting systems.
- Budgeting: Prepare, track, and manage budgets, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Monitor burn rate and estimated revenue, providing insights into budget management.
- Revenue Forecasting: Develop forecasts to estimate future revenue and expenses.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports, analyze data, and manage financial information to support business decisions.
- Vendor Cost Comparison: Compare vendor costs against booked hours, identify discrepancies, and report them.
- Month-End Close Reporting: Support month-end closing activities by tracking and managing our Provision and Reversal process
- Purchase Order Management: Create, manage, and track purchase orders, ensuring alignment with budgets and vendor agreements.
- Vendor Invoice Management: Process vendor invoices and maintain accurate records.
What You've Got:
- Experience in record-keeping and accounting systems preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel is required.
- Prior experience with purchase orders, vendor invoices, and financial tracking is essential.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to report on financials clearly.
Our hourly pay for this role is $35/hr.
