Salary: $135,000 - $160,000 per year
A bit about us:
We are a growing accounting firm offering a variety of services including franchise systems, financial services, accounting, tax, and business brokerage. With double-digit growth year-over-year for the past 6 years, we are seeking to add a permanent Fractional CFO to serve our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, including experience in monthly reporting, forecasting, revenue management, P&L, controls, and process and procedure implementation.

Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing all financial operations and directing corporate financial planning and structure.
2. Coordinating, analyzing, and reporting the financial performance to the management and board (financial performance, projections, and other special projects as required).
3. Preparing short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.
4. Overseeing audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms, and review firms' performance.
5. Developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive job cost system.
6. Directing and analyzing studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's policies and operations.
7. Managing processes for financial forecasting, budgets, consolidation, and reporting to the Company.
8. Ensuring effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. An MBA, CPA, or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.
2. 5+ years of senior financial management experience, with a proven track record in financial reporting, forecasting, and budget management.
3. Deep knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. High level of integrity, committed to ethics and regulatory compliance.
5. Strong analytical skills to assess data, facts, and figures.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software.
7. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
