We are seeking an experienced FP&A Manager / Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing finance team. This role will play a critical part in driving financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making as we scale our SaaS operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, a deep understanding of SaaS metrics, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup environment.

We are seeking an experienced FP&A Manager / Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing finance team. This role will play a critical part in driving financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making as we scale our SaaS operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, a deep understanding of SaaS metrics, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Develop and maintain complex financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning; create scenario analyses to evaluate financial impact of strategic decisions.

Budgeting and Planning: Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic re-forecasting efforts; collaborate with department heads to align budgets with operational plans.

Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts; prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to management.

SaaS Metrics Tracking: Monitor key SaaS metrics like MRR, ARR, churn rates, CAC, and LTV; provide insights into customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.

Strategic Business Support: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers; support pricing strategy development and assess new product viability.

Investor Relations and Fundraising Support: Assist in preparing financial materials for board meetings and investor updates; participate in due diligence processes by providing financial analyses.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial planning processes; automate reporting to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct financial analyses to support special projects and initiatives; evaluate potential M&A opportunities from a financial perspective.

Compliance and Governance: Ensure financial practices comply with GAAP and regulatory requirements; assist with audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors.

Team and External Consultants Management: Oversee and coordinate work with external financial consultants and advisors; manage and mentor a sr. staff accountant to ensure alignment with financial strategies, accurate reporting, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; 5 - 15 years of FP&A experience in a SaaS or tech company; MBA, CFA, or relevant advanced degree/certification is a plus.

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial planning software and ERP systems; proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

SaaS Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of SaaS business models and KPIs; experience analyzing subscription revenue and customer lifecycle metrics.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex financial data; detail-oriented with high accuracy in financial information.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders; strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines; self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment; flexibility to adapt to new challenges and additional responsibilities.
