Overview:
- The Manager of FP&A will report to the Director of FP&A
- The position will provide financial leadership and is responsible for driving continuous improvement in the areas of forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and strategic planning.
- The Manager, FP&A will also manage and lead financial analysis and support of Business Unit strategic initiatives and collaborate with internal cross functional teams to implement best practices across North American finance systems & processes.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of related and progressively increased responsibility/career progression in Finance.
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced degree, MBA or CPA is a plus.
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced Excel skills, financial IT systems acumen preferably with SAP
Job Description:
- Preparation of weekly forecast and variance analysis
- Analyze and interpret actual financial performance vs. operating plan, forecast and prior year results
- Generate financial forecasts (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow), and review with Beverage management; identify key risks/opportunities
- Understand key drivers of product line and customer profitability
- Track capital spending and perform post capital reviews for the Board of Directors
- Provide direction and thought leadership to the senior controllers and plant controllers on financial matters and process improvement opportunities
- Improve operations by serving as a thought leader and liaison between plants and corporate HQ
- Complete profit improvement projects that cover multiple plants or both operating regions
- Manage planning processes and stay on track to meet stakeholder expectations
- Enhance and standardize the use of operational and financial data
- Streamline and improve planning processes
- Internal controls and accounting/finance practices
