PROCEPT BioRobotics is a surgical robotics company enabling better patient care by developing transformative solutions in urology. With an initial focus on BPH, the company's AquaBeam® Robotic System delivering Aquablation therapy, is the first FDA-cleared, automated surgical robot for the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) due to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Aquablation therapy combines real-time, multi-dimensional imaging, automated robotics and heat-free waterjet ablation for targeted, controlled, and immediate removal of prostate tissue. Aquablation therapy offers predictable and reproducible outcomes, independent of prostate anatomy, prostate size or surgeon experience.
SUMMARY
We are searching for a Director, FP&A, to join the FP&A team in a rapidly growing MedTech company. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, the Director role will be highly visible as he/she will support and partner directly with several VPs across the organization.
PROCEPT BioRobotics is a rapidly growing company, and the Director, FP&A will provide strategic guidance on improving or implementing new processes. To be successful, you should be versatile, have strong communication skills, and be able to work and adapt in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be required as assigned)
- Lead the annual OPEX budgeting process, collaborating with department heads and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and financial targets.
- Drive the monthly and quarterly forecasting processes, and analyzing performance against targets and metrics
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for OPEX and revenue
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Conduct variance analysis to explain deviations from budget and forecasted results, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Evaluate capital investment opportunities, including ROI analysis and scenario modeling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, systems, and tools
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for board meetings, investor presentations, and other strategic initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of Senior Finance Manager and financial analysts, fostering their professional development and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial information.
- Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance
- Understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics' Quality & EHS policies
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Certifications)

- 15+ years of strong, foundational experience in cost accounting, forecasting, and planning
- Exceptional business partner and communication skills; naturally curious & passionate about learning the products and services
- Deep analytical expertise with exposure to various systems. Proficiency in Adaptive is desired
- Requires strong financial modeling of business cases and R&D portfolio management
- Outstanding leadership and influencing skills
- B.S. in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA desired

For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $188,000-259,000 a year.
PROCEPT BioRobotics is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we aim to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. While our ranges are posted, the exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the successful candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, location or comparison to other employees already in similar roles. In addition to base salary, our positions are eligible for variable compensation through one of our incentive plans as well as equity compensation based on role and level. PROCEPT also offers a comprehensive suite of benefits including, but not limited to, health insurance plans, ESPP, 401k retirement savings plan with a company match, and paid time off programs.
