About the Job
We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, with a focus on auditing and optimizing business intelligence systems and ERP/Point of Sale (POS) systems. In this role, you will work closely with finance and IT teams to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial and operational data used for reporting, analysis, and decision-making. - Reporting & Analysis: Assist in the creation of automated reports, dashboards, and visualizations within BI platforms, ensuring alignment with business requirements and finance KPIs.
- System Troubleshooting & Support: Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot issues related to system performance, data discrepancies, or report inaccuracies, ensuring timely resolution.
- User Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users on using BI and ERP/POS systems effectively for reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation related to system configurations, processes, and reporting structures to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with best practices in data management, BI tools, and ERP systems. Recommend and implement improvements to current systems and workflows to drive efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role, preferably with exposure to Business Intelligence (BI) systems, ERP systems, or financial systems

- Basic understanding of financial concepts and reporting, with an interest in data-driven decision-making
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail, with a focus on data integrity and system accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with SQL or other data query languages is a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with system integrations and data pipelines
- Familiarity with advanced Excel functions, VBA, or other data manipulation tools
- Basic knowledge of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes and metrics
