REPORTS TO: Senior Manager of Finance FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

POSTION OVERVIEW:
Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Finance, the FP&A Analyst will oversee the day-to-day analysis and reporting for the USDA Program for all locations. The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for creating the tools to analyze the program performance as well as work with the USDA team on program resolution.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
· New item set-up audit & resolution. Able to identify item set-up discrepancies and work with the USDA Program Manager to identify accounts that require further action (credits/rebills).
· New Vendor set-up audit & resolution.
· Utilization of PowerBI to enhance reporting analysis on the NOI and FFS programs. Be able to identify schools that are not receiving drawdowns and identify the reasons, then report back to the USDA team to action and resolve.
· Manage the manufacturer balances nationally. Create PowerBI tools to better analyze the customer and coop utilization.
· Create forecasting tools for both USDA Processed Commodity & Direct Delivery, allowing better management of diversions, replenishment, category management, and overall inventory management.
· Conduct variance analysis between NAV and 3rd party reporting systems, reporting variances to the USDA team.
· Conduct quarterly inventory loss analysis and develop an inventory reserve methodology based on findings.
· Utilize the 3rd party Bid tool, Stryker and NAV to more accurately identify USDA eligible items for proper pricing.
· Ensure all reporting functions for USDA are completed with accuracy and in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
· Focus on ways to better reporting and analysis for internal customers (USDA Team, Operations, SLT, etc).
· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art
practices; participating in professional industry events. Stay up to date on industry practices and standards; Identify new tools and technologies to better serve the customer.
· Promote and cultivate the GSF culture and the core values of a Right Now Organization.
· Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Ability to utilize other computer systems.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Ability to multi-task, excellent time management and organizational skills
· Ability to think critically, analyze data sets, and provide recommendations
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
