Foundry Technical Sales Representative (Remote)

Compensation:
The compensation will consist of a base salary commensurate with experience + Uncapped Commissions. (May be flexible for candidates with industry experience who can hit the ground running.)

We are excited to be partnering with a high integrity global company serving the metal casting and foundry industries who is committed to providing high quality and innovative products to their customers. The product portfolio includes Resins, Resin Coated and Specialty Sands, Metal Treatments, Die Coatings & Lubricants and Manufacturing Additives to list a few. Due to a retirement we are engaged in a search for a Technical Sales Representative to manage the Indiana territory.
Job Duties:
- Maintain and develop maximum sales consistent with Company goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for sales expansion and recommend specific action plans to accomplish and provide proper liaison between customers and production, laboratory, technical service, and management functions.
- Demonstrates products/services and assists in the selection of products/services most applicable to customers’ needs.
- Demonstrates and familiarizes established accounts with new products/services and developments.
- Communicates pricing, terms, delivery dates, etc. on orders, subject to the approval of management.
- Respond promptly to all needs and requests from within territory (e.g., customer concerns, technical issues, etc.). Investigate and report on customer complaints as needed.
- Identify and develop points of purchase at accounts and develop relationships at these and other significant management levels.
- Submit sales plans, goals, and objectives for territory.
- Review and update goals and objectives quarterly with Sales Manager.
- Other duties as assigned by the National Sales Manager.
Requirements:
- B.S./B.A. in Business, Marketing or Technical Degree (Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience in sales and marketing of technical products.
- Proven prospecting and closing skills with a track record of delivering results.
- Knowledge of the foundry or chemical industry consumable products highly desired.
- Ability to travel and pass a driving record background check (moving violations, accidents,
license suspension, etc.) required. - Ability to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
