Formulation Technician from Joulé

Job Title: Formulation Technician
Location: Orangeburg, NY
Shift: 1^st shift 7:00am to 3:30pm
Type: Contract, 6 months +
Pay: $23-$25/hour, depending upon experience

Qualifications:

• AS or BS degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences with relevant experience desired.
• .Formulations experience with Liquid or solid formulation
• Experience weighing chemicals and raw materials
• Perform conversion calculations- mg/ml to Kg/l
• Measure aqueous solutions
• Prior batch making experience in Food, Pharma or Chemical industries.
• Experience/knowledge with Formulation sheet.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain production area in a clean & orderly manner consistent with GMP's
• Handle Biological Materials and Hazardous materials
• Performs tank clean out, sterilization and maintenance
• Prepare glassware, filters & any other production materials needed for production runs.
• Able to follow production schedules for production runs.
• Follow and execute quality procedures.
• Operates centrifuges, filtration equipment, pH meter, balances, mixers
• Enter data into enterprise managing software, SAP or equivalent experience preferred
