Job Title: Forklift Operator

Duties:
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move materials within the warehouse or distribution center
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using forklifts
- Safely stack and store materials in designated areas
- Perform equipment inspections and routine maintenance to ensure proper functioning
- Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory and locate specific items
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet production goals
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot forklifts and other equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Proficiency in materials handling techniques, including stacking, organizing, and securing loads
- Ability to perform basic equipment repairs or report any malfunctions promptly
- Experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment preferred
- Capable of lifting heavy objects and operating heavy machinery safely
- Skilled in order picking and accurately fulfilling customer orders
- Competent in basic math calculations for inventory counts and order verification
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
