This posting is for current temporary employees working at Lifetime Products in Manufacturing Material Handling.
Forklift operators will load and unload trailers, support the production lines, receive inbound product, keep an accurate account of inventory, maintain equipment, and a safe, clean warehouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities could include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
- Able to multitask and adapt to changes quickly
- Able to make informed decisions and work well with all personality types
- Perform general housekeeping functions
- Use proper radio etiquette
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Must be a current temporary employee working at Lifetime Products through a staffing agency.
- Must have a clean driving record and provide proof of a valid Utah Driver's License, with a current copy of Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Less than a high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual in English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate forklift machines, some forklift experience preferred
- There will be times that overtime hours will be required including Saturdays
