Forklift Operator - Precision Staffing

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Forklift Operator to join our packaging team. This role involves supporting production processes by efficiently moving products, supplying materials, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and be ready to assist with various packaging tasks as needed.

Shift: 3rd shift, 11PM - 7AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to transport products from blending to packaging and from packaging to the warehouse.
• Supply empty pallets and materials to packing lines to maintain operational efficiency.
• Assist in stacking boxes and bags on pallets (requires lifting 25-55 lbs continuously).
• Aid in dumping products at the deck, involving pushing/pulling loads over 100 lbs.
• Step in as a packer operator when required.
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Maintain the integrity of raw materials and assist with inventory and cycle counts.
• Follow Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures when cleaning equipment and ensure the cleanliness of work areas and machinery.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of packaging experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating standard warehouse equipment, including stand-up forklifts and load move systems.
• Preferably 2 years of experience in forklift operation.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to strong aromas and airborne dust particles from ingredients.
• Work performed in production areas with active machinery.
