Our client is seeking a qualified individual to fulfill the role of Forklift Operator. This a seasonal position with full-time hours and rotating shifts located in Benton, TN.
The Forklift Operator position will contribute to a work environment where fairness, equality and non-discriminatory practices are the standards. This is a full-time position, and hours and days of work are determined by their shift. Working overtime and/or weekends may be required as necessary.

Forklift Operator would be responsible for the following but not limited to;
- Pulling all finished product, ensuring that it is in good condition and proper labeling is applied.
- Stocking the pallets, slip sheets, and film wrap. This is to be done so that the particular production run and half of the next production run will not run out of these items. When stocking pallets into the machine, they must be stacked neat and straight. Failure to do so will damage the machine.
- Stocking the production line with cardboard, film, labeler-Kister glue, and any other items the respective line director's requests.
- Returning all materials unused after a change over to its proper location with the appropriate signed paperwork on each item and restocking with materials for the new product to be run.
- Organizing the warehouse; ensuring the consistent rotation of product.
- The daily check of the forklift to identify any maintenance needs and safety issues.
- Keeping work area neat, clean and orderly; free of any debris, scrap or defective product during a production run. This is to include fixing any damaged pallets or pallets not stacked properly before he/she leaves for the day.
- Maintaining a safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to grasp small items, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

- Proficient in forklift/heavy equipment operations.
- Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and experience working with machinery helpful.
- Ability to follow instructions.

- Must have integrity, honesty, and loyalty to the Company.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $11.00 hour
