Title: Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift
Location: Plainsboro, NJ
Contract: 6 Months
2nd shift: 3PM - 11:30PM Candidate must be willing to train on 1st shift (7AM - 3:30PM)

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to:
* Utilize hands & fingers to handle, feel, twist, grab, hold; reach with hands and arms; write, utilize keyboards to type (75% to 100% of the time)
* Ability to walk, bend, stretch, stoop, sit, climb stairs as needed at various intervals throughout shift (50% - 75% of the time)
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus, to read documents, computer screens and other communications (100% of time).
* Must be able to communicate with management, co-workers, and other departments (75%-100% of time)
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Must be able to pass the annual physical to determine physical fitness for use of a respirator.
Requirements Specific to this role include:
" Individuals DO NOT need to have a HS diploma or a GED. An assessment will be sent out in replacement of this should the candidate be extended a FT opportunity. Potential offer for full time down the road.
* Some experience in handling chemicals preferred but can be Producted through on the job experience.
* Prior forklift experience in a manufacturing and/or warehousiing environment preferred; will be trained to operate a folklift; Must have ability to Stand Up & Sit Down while operating.; Ability to utilize material handling equipment onf a forllift; must become skilled at placemenet of materials into warehouse racking; Must safely move freight onto and off trailers damage free..
* Prefer prior equipent experience in a manufacturing, warehousing or Distribution enviroment.
* Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
* Able to understand basic Safety Concepts and integrate them into daily work.
* Ability to work wthiin a changing environment and take direction and provide feedback to management as required.
* Ability to use handheld scanners.
* Suffiencient computer skills in order to perform SAP & MES transactions.
* Solid reading comprehension skills in order to correctly read numbers, validate information and act on.
