Forklift Driver - Spherion

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Driver to join our team in supporting pipeline operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials and equipment throughout the site. The Forklift Driver will work closely with other teams to ensure that materials are delivered to the right locations within the pipeline project while maintaining safety standards and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
Operate a forklift to transport materials, tools, and equipment around the job site, including loading and unloading deliveries.
Ensure all materials are stored and organized properly, facilitating easy access and inventory management.
Perform daily checks on the forklift equipment to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines, adhering to company policies and OSHA standards.
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts as needed.
Collaborate with the site supervisor and other team members to prioritize and coordinate material movement.
Perform general warehouse or site maintenance tasks as required.
Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks or containers as needed.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Follow all project-specific requirements and timelines to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications:
Proven experience operating a forklift in an industrial or construction environment, preferably in pipeline operations.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to [X] lbs) safely.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to work in all weather conditions and follow safety guidelines under various environmental conditions.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in pipeline construction or similar fields is a plus.
