Welding Foreman Position Summary:
Work directly with Superintendents and Welders to complete fabrication or piping projects. Communicate Welder resources, materials, means and methods, expectations, etc. for all shop or field welding projects. Coordinate and direct NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) crews to complete required VT, RT, or MT requirements. Frequently perform quality checks for fabrication and welding processes to ensure compliance with acceptance criteria.
Hiring Requirements/Preferences for Welding Foreman:
- High School diploma or GED, or equivalent technical training.
- 4-6 years of applicable experience and extensive knowledge of welding and cutting processes.
- Basic knowledge of welding and cutting processes is preferred.
- OSHA 10 Construction Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training).
- Must maintain a valid Driver's license, obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
