Job Description:
The number one priority of each employee at Beck Construction is maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Daily duties would include:
- Checking filters.
- Greasing equipment.
- Reading/understanding plans.
- Operating heavy equipment - digging around utilities.
- Installing/abandoning lines.
- Demolition, etc.
- Using lasers and other tools.
- Maintaining leadership qualities.
- Progressing through each project with the help of everyone in the field.
Requirements:
- Applicant MUST have a minimum of 5 years’ experience operating trackhoes around utilities.
- Applicant must be able to install new waterline, sewer line and storm drain utilities with little to no supervision.
- Experience reading plans and understanding tasks at hand.
- Experience using lasers and other tools.
- Able to read survey stakes and set grades.
- Able to calculate aggregate quantities and export quantities.
- Leadership skills - the ability to keep the crew working.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Able to pass a drug test.
