Foreman at Carolina Environmental Construction

Carolina Environmental Construction is a professional, environmental construction company. We specialize in the Solid Waste, Power, and Industrial markets. Our job sites are nationwide, primarily on the East Coast. Our ideal candidate will have prior construction experience in the pipe, concrete, or grading industry. We are looking for an experienced Construction Foreman / Equipment Operator with an hourly rate of $20 - $27 based on experience. This is an extensive traveling position.

Responsibilities of Construction Foreman / Equipment Operator

• Aid Superintendent in managing all field operations of the project.
• Accountable for the safe work practices of our employees while on customer sites.
• Plan and direct day-to-day on-site with supervisor of field labor force including QC, technicians, and laborers.
• Operate machinery needed to complete project.
• Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
• Identify conflicts or scope gaps in construction progress and communicate them to project management for resolution.
• Provide the leadership, motivation, and enthusiasm necessary to create a safe, cooperative, and productive environment at the workplace.

Requirements:

• Bilingual (Spanish and English) and strong computer skills preferred
• Extensive travel required.
• Able to operate heavy equipment (Skid steer, excavator, dozer)
• A team player with strong management and leadership skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings, and plans.
• OSHA 10 certification.
