Food Systems Sales Engineer
Location: Mid-West US territory, Remote
Salary: 100k- 130k
Schedule: Core Hours with travel 35 50%. If not travelling, employee will work remote

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor s degree in engineering is strongly recommended or 5 years experience working in the industry.
- Experience in material handling or in estimated technical proposals.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in food industry or food processing can be sales or engineering.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to schedule and manage tasks effectively.
- Conflict resolution and critical thinking skills.
- Teamwork and motivational skills.
- Organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to comply with company policies and procedures.
- The position requires travel time, approximately 35% - 50%
Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance by achieving established sales and booking targets.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing customers and identify new opportunities within the food industry and major engineering firms.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts for the assigned region, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Present proposals effectively as part of the offer board approval process.
- Collaborate with the applications team to develop system flow diagrams, perform calculations, and create detailed proposals.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and strategic meetings to strengthen market presence.
- Prepare cost estimates and proposal documentation with precision and attention to detail.
- Craft compelling presentation materials and proposals tailored to customer needs.
- Leverage the Salesforce CRM platform to track opportunities and maintain accurate sales records.
- Organize and manage sales department data to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Lead and deliver persuasive proposal presentations to clients, demonstrating technical expertise and value propositions.
