Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff scheduling
2. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local health and safety regulations
3. Manage inventory and purchasing to control costs and minimize waste
4. Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and service
5. Monitor food costs and labor expenses to ensure budgetary goals are met
6. Collaborate with the dietary team to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences
7. Maintain a positive and supportive work environment

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a healthcare setting
2. Strong leadership and organizational skills
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
5. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
6. Food Handler's Certification required
