Food Service Supervisor - McKnight Place Extended Care

 Job Description 

McKnight Place Extended Care is a Long-Term & Rehab Nursing Facility. We are seeking a foodservice  Supervisor to join our team. While serving meals to our resident’s restaurant style, we offer a fine dining experience with a wide variety of menu selection created by our Executive Chef. We are looking for a special individual who enjoys working with seniors. Experience in Long Term Care, Healthcare, Restaurants or Hospitality preferred. Responsibilities:

• Supervising and coordinating dining room activities
• Oversee resident meal services and resolve issues which may arise
•  Assist with creating and adjusting staff schedules to meet building needs
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
• Verify dining room areas are cleaned and maintained
• Manage personnel in the dining rooms
• Assist with recruiting and dining room personnel
• Ensure residents receive appropriate diets

Qualifications:

• Serve-Safe Certificate (Preferred)
• Previous experience in food service in Senior Living
• Senior living experience preferred
• Strong leadership qualities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Pay Based on Experience

• Every other weekend
• Overtime as needed

Experience:

• Supervising experience: 1 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• SERV Safe (Preferred)
