Food Service Manager - Gerry's Restaurant and Bar - National City

Welcome to Gerry's Restaurant and Bar, where culinary passion meets adventure! We're thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a full-time Food Service Manager to join our dynamic food service team in the heart of National City, CA.

WHAT'S THE SCOPE?

Our Food Service Manager earns a competitive salary of $66,560 per year and an array of enticing benefits. This includes:

As a Food Service Manager, you'll dive into the action during our operating hours from Monday to Thursday, 12 pm to 8 pm, Friday and Saturday from 12 pm to 10 pm, and Sunday from 11 am to 8 pm. You'll work a minimum of 50 hours per week!

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MATTER

As a Food Service Manager, you oversee the operational management of our restaurant. Your responsibilities extend to the regular training and evaluation of all staff members, coupled with final approval authority on various financial matters including expenses, payments, schedules, leaves, and payroll processing. As a leader, you foster productivity and team morale by instituting accountability mechanisms and maintaining an accessible demeanor. You also uphold store cleanliness standards and overall conditions while leading your team toward exceeding customer expectations!

WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR A FOOD SERVICE MANAGER?

• 2+ years of experience as a restaurant manager
• Experience in roles requiring growth and retention of a customer base
• Experience creating a highly motivated and focused team
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, great attention to detail, and exceptional business acumen
• Ability to manage change, make effective decisions, and establish/complete goals

Experience working in a Filipino restaurant is a plus!
