Foodservice Director Wanted: Contract Foodservice Expertise - Norfolk, Hampton, or Chesapeake, Virginia

Are you an experienced Foodservice Director with a strong background in contract foodservice account relationships? We're seeking a dedicated professional with expertise in managing partnerships with companies like Aramark or Sodexo. Candidates with experience in higher education (higher-ed) settings will also be considered. Responsibilities:

As our Foodservice Director, your duties will include:

• Overseeing all aspects of foodservice operations for our contract accounts, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, including groups such as Aramark, Sodexo, and higher-ed institutions
• Collaborating with internal teams to create innovative menus, promotions, and special events that align with client objectives
• Managing budgets, P&L, and financial performance for assigned accounts
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations
• Recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing foodservice team

Requirements:

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant and equivalent Foodservice Director role, preferably within contract foodservice or higher-ed settings
• Proven success with brands such as Aramark, Sodexo, or similar contract foodservice companies
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Proximity to Norfolk, Hampton, or Chesapeake areas of Virginia, as the final location will be determined based on the selected candidate
