Job Details
Responsibilities:
Conduct safety audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with OSHA, food safety, and industry-specific standards.
Lead safety training sessions and emergency preparedness drills for employees.
Investigate incidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
Maintain and update safety records, equipment checks, and regulatory compliance reports.
Collaborate with management to implement new safety initiatives and process improvements.
Oversee PPE usage, and hazard communication, and manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) relevant to the food manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
2-5 years of safety experience in food manufacturing or a similar environment.
Knowledge of OSHA standards and food industry safety regulations.
Strong communication skills and experience conducting safety training.
Certification in workplace safety or related field preferred (e.g., OSHA 30, CSP).
