As a key member of the Quality Team, you will help drive food safety and compliance across the site. This role involves supporting food safety programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold best practices, and ensuring food safety standards are integrated into daily operations. You’ll play an active role in promoting a culture of food safety and quality.
How you will contribute
+ Develop and facilitate food safety training sessions, ensuring employees are well-versed in food safety protocols and regulatory expectations.
+ Provide support for the HACCP program and Food Safety Plan, coordinating efforts to maintain compliance and assisting with program updates as needed.
+ Perform regular verification of Critical Control Points (CCPs) and Operational Prerequisite Programs (OPRPs), ensuring they meet established standards and coordinating corrective actions when necessary.
+ Lead and participate in root cause analysis for food safety issues, working with the quality team to implement effective preventive measures.
+ Oversee environmental monitoring and zoning protocols, ensuring controls are effectively reducing contamination risks.
+ Coordinate with quality and production teams to support the extraneous matter prevention program, conducting regular checks and implementing improvements.
+ Assist in the management of allergen control programs, supporting processes from raw material intake through finished product handling.
+ Manage sampling and testing schedules, ensuring accurate record-keeping, communication of results, and necessary follow-ups.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain food safety standards during product changes and continuous improvement projects.
+ Contribute to tracking and analyzing food safety metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement, and assisting with audit preparations.

+ Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams to ensure food safety standards are met.
+ Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal direction.
+ Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills to act as a liaison.
+ Possess problem solving skills
+ Ability to prioritize work and meet required deadlines

Education / Certifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Assurance, Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
Job specific requirements:
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in food safety roles within a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing preferred).
+ Expertise in food safety risk identification, CCP/OPRP validation, HACCP governance, and allergen control.
+ Knowledge of regulatory food safety standards and industry best practices
+ Food Manufacturing experience (required)

Salary and Benefits:
+ The anticipated base salary range for this position is $71,700 to $98,625; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. . In addition, Mondelēz International Company offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, and many others.
