Job Overview
Shooters Waterfront is seeking motivated Food Runners and or Barbacks to join their accomplished team. Flexible shifts are required, and candidates must possess a great attitude and contribute to the overall fun work environment at Shooters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)
- Assists with preparation and serving of foods in assigned area(s).
- Treat guests with a sense of caring and individuality while effectively identifying their specific needs.
- Inform management of guest needs that may require special accommodations.
- Show special recognition of frequent Guests.
- Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for guests at all times.
- Present a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance at all times.
- Maintain constant awareness of services, promotions, and events.
- Inspect and ensure a clean, safe working environment, notify appropriate departments to handle deficient situations.
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to deliver food to guests by working with servers and the kitchen to ensure plates in the window match ticket orders before they go to the table checking especially for consistency and modifications.
- Possess the ability to confidently describe and sell all items on the food and beverage menus.
- Delivers beverages and food efficiently and maintains engagement to ensure a positive experience.
- High production standards including, consistency, firmness, and temperature of food.
- Ensures food is cooked to standards and guests’ specifications.
- Ensure proper plate presentation, portioning, and recipe adherence.
- Cleans and prepares tables for new guests.
- Supports restaurant maintenance by stocking supplies and keeping a clean and organized environment.
- Practices teamwork during all shifts and supports both FOH and BOH priorities.
- Works cohesively with all Team Members.
- Follows the direction of the Managers on duty.
- Remain in stationary and mobile position throughout the work shift.
- Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training.
- Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs., occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Candidates must be available to work flexible hours including morning, afternoons, evening, nights, weekends and or holidays.
- Must possess a willingness to learn and perform new banquet event programs and services.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, food tickets. and event orders.
- Must possess reliable transportation.
- Reliable, consistent work attendance is a requirement and essential function of this position.
- Flexible to assist in other departments as requested.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
