Food Production Maintenance Mechanic 2nd shift Braintree, MA
Hours: 2nd Shift - 130pm to 1130pm (including overtime)- Saturday's during busy season
Pay: $25.00- $33.00 an hour
The primary role of the Industrial production manufacturing technician is to provide competent and effective mechanical and electrical maintenance support to the production line and facility operations in a safe manner.
Essential Functions:
· The manufacturing technician directly supports daily plant productivity and operations. This position performs routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairs on all food processing and packaging equipment utilizing a variety of hand and power tools.
· In addition, this individual ensures that all good manufacturing policies, food safety/quality regulations and safety rules are consistently met.
· Responsible for set-up of assigned machine(s) to ensure daily production goals are met.
· Responsible for coordination of product changeovers to maximize line efficiencies.
· Verify that lines are supplied with necessary components to meet daily production schedule.
Requirements and Qualifications:
· 3+ years in an industrial environment in a mechanical or related position
· Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems
· Read & understand electrical drawings
· Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems repair
