Summary of Position:
A Crew member exhibits the energy, passion, and commitment in displaying the PCF brand. You’ll work alongside fellow team members to deliver stellar customer service and a variety of expertly crafted dessert products. You’ll be in an energetic environment where you’ll have the ability to positively influence and guide others, maintain an encouraging team environment, and grow your leadership skills.
Reports to: Shift Lead, Management
Hours: Shifts span in varying increments between the operating hours of 11am to 11pm. Part-time, weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
Welcome Customers
Be the first person customers meet when they walk through the door. Ensures that guests are greeted properly, answering questions related to the menu and educating customers on the different options available. Maintains a knowledge of current promotions and discounts. Answering customer inquiries and resolving complaints
Process Bill Payments
Proficiently execute and perform all tasks as FOH. Handle all forms of money during the work shift. Follow appropriate cash-out procedures using the point-of-sale system to record a customer’s total and help them pay their bill. Collect payments from guests, returning the appropriate amount of change.
Prepare and Serve Food to Customers
Proficiently execute and perform all tasks including BOH, EXPO, and PREP. Once food is prepared, deliver it to the correct customer. Attentiveness to the order number and ensuring the proper items are delivered. Display ability to effectively communicate with kitchen staff, cashier and/or customers.
Clean and Set Dining Areas
Works to keep the appearance of the restaurant to the required standard. During down times or in-between shifts, team members clean, sanitize, wipe down, or sweep areas where food is prepped or served. Responsible for the re-set tables, restocking dining utensils and menus to ensure every guest has what they need.
Other responsibilities for this position consist of the following:
· Proficiently execute and perform all Crew Member tasks including FOH, BOH, EXPO, and PREP as needed.
· Operate the POS accurately and maintain proper control of company assets.
· Performs daily operations in the store such as taking orders, running the POS system, ingredient prepping, etc.
· Maintains fast accurate service, ensures excellent customer experience, and makes sure all products are consistent with company standards.
· Make sure the restaurant is up to company standards with regard to cleanliness, neatness, and customer accessibility.
· Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
· Community canvasing based on qualifications and experience.
General qualifications for this position consist of the following:
· 1-3 years of customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment is preferable.
· Ability to prepare foods and beverages to company standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, the number of ingredients, or substituted ingredients.
· Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
· Ability to adapt and learn quickly, specifically in accordance with store and company policies and procedures.
· Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality dessert products, cash handling, and store safety and security.
· Effective oral communication skills
· Knowledge of the retail environment
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Ability to work as part of a team.
