Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our food and beverage team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for ensuring that food orders are delivered promptly and accurately to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the local area, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to representing our club positively.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Delivery: Pick up food orders from the restaurant and deliver them to customers within the designated delivery area.
Timely Delivery: Ensure that all deliveries are made within the expected time frame to maintain customer satisfaction.
Order Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of orders before leaving the restaurant and upon delivery to the customer.
Customer Interaction: Provide friendly and professional service to customers, addressing any concerns or issues with a positive attitude.
Safety and Compliance: Follow all traffic laws and driving regulations. Ensure that the delivery vehicle is maintained in a clean and safe condition.
Payment Handling: Collect payments from customers as required, ensuring accuracy in transactions and providing correct change or receipts.
Navigation: Use GPS or other navigation tools to plan routes and find the most efficient delivery paths.
Restaurant Support: Assist with other duties in the restaurant during downtime, such as helping with packaging orders or light kitchen work.
Record Keeping: Maintain logs of deliveries, including mileage, delivery times, and any customer feedback.
Problem Solving: Handle any issues that arise during delivery, such as wrong addresses, traffic delays, or order discrepancies, with professionalism.
Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Reliable Transportation: Must have access to a reliable vehicle.
Knowledge of Area: Familiarity with the local area and ability to navigate using GPS or maps.
Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and deliver orders in a timely manner.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry food orders, including those weighing up to [weight] pounds.
Work Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
