About the Job
Supervise all Food and Beverage team members to ensure they have the skills, resources and support to deliver excellent guest service. Ensure that all company service and operating standards are met and that all local, state and federal laws are observed.
GENERAL:
- Assist the Departmental Managers in planning work schedules and assigning locations to team members
- Monitor team member activities to ensure maximum operating efficiency
- Handle guest complaints that cannot be handled by Food and Beverage employees
- As required assist in the hiring, orientation, and training of Food and Beverage employees. Ensure all relevant staff are RAMP certified
- Ensure all job descriptions, check lists and other departmental documentation are kept current and are issued to Food and Beverage employees before they begin their first shift
- As required by managers, evaluate Food and Beverage staff and consistently document positive and constructive feedback
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of Company events and promotions and ensure Food and Beverage employees are briefed accordingly
- Maintain labor turnover records and assist managers in achieving annual targets. Report any prevailing trends to Food and Beverage Management
- Maintain all Mystery Shop data and achieve annual targets relating therein. Use the information to improve service, train and counsel employees and adjust policies
- Provide counseling to all Food and Beverage employees on an as-needed basis
- Ensure all hygiene rules are observed in the kitchen, dining areas and bars. Pay particular attention to the preparation and storage of food
- Supervise cleaning of facilities and equipment: inspect dining rooms, kitchens and bars plus all related equipment for cleanliness
- Perform all other duties as assigned
BEVERAGE:
- Supervise the daily operation of all beverage employees and ensures that they are performing their tasks efficiently in accordance with service and operating standards
- Achieve and maintain a full working knowledge of all bartending activities, rules, appearance standards and promotions
- Maintain the Master Server sheet. To be updated accordingly with each new hire or resignation/termination
FOOD:
- Assist in supervising the operation of all food venues
- Assist in developing new menu and recipe concepts for the restaurants
- Participate in cooking and serving food as directed
- Monitors kitchen activities to achieve maximum operating efficiency

Required Experience:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred. Prior experience in food and beverage supervision is preferred. Must have a demonstrated ability to motivate, and to produce exceptional results by channeling the efforts of others.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, strong communication skills and a courteous personality.
- Must be able work all shifts, and weekends/holidays as required. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and through written communications
- Must be knowledgeable of all federal, state and local regulations relevant to the Food and Beverage operation.
