JOB SUMMARY – F& B Manager: As F& B Manager you will oversee the daily operations for the Food and Beverage department of Metro Lagoons. The goal is to ensure aspects of the Food and Beverage department run smoothly and complies with safety regulations. Responsible for overseeing food preparation, ordering supplies, scheduling shifts, and monitoring inventory levels.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have proven culinary and management experience. In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should also demonstrate outstanding leadership and organizational abilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to lead a team and promotes and ensures great hospitality.
• Assist Food and Beverage Assistant General Manager, other management team members, and the support staff.
• Ensures food quality by maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization, storage, sanitation of food products.
• Manages inventory efficiently, accurately, and in a cost-effective manner.
• Manages kitchen operations during scheduled shifts that include daily decision-making, staff support, Guest interaction, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality, and cleanliness.

• Demonstrates responsibility for purchasing, receiving, and storing food products, an inspection of local suppliers, use of correct products and proper par levels.
• Understands all kitchen equipment operations and preventive maintenance.
• Staying complaint with food labor and sanitation laws.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Maintain ServSafe and Food Handling Management Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of kitchen experience and 6 months of kitchen management (required).
• Ability to communicate clearly with Guests, Managers and Team Members
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be available to work mornings, nights, holidays, and weekends. (Flexible schedule hours will vary)
• All candidates will be required to pass a background test.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
