TM Fieldhouse is looking for an experienced and skilled Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the operations and management of food and beverage services inside our facility restaurant, TM Fit. The role involves a combination of operational, financial, and administrative tasks to ensure that the TM Fit delivers high-quality food and beverage services while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Ensure that food and beverage menus are well-designed, aligned with customer preferences, and updated regularly.
- Supervise food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure high-quality standards.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure consistent stock levels.
Staff Management:
- Hire, train, and supervise staff in various roles including lead line cooks, line cooks, and part time staff.
- Schedule shifts and assign duties to ensure adequate staffing during peak and off-peak hours.
- Provide guidance, motivation, and performance feedback to staff members to ensure excellent customer service.
Customer Service:
- Ensure that guests receive high-quality service and address any complaints or issues promptly.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and work on improving service quality.
- Interact with guests, collect feedback, and implement improvements based on feedback.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage food and beverage budgets to ensure cost control and profitability.
- Set pricing strategies for menus, ensuring a balance between profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor financial performance, track sales, and prepare reports on revenue and expenses.
- Analyze food and beverage costs, wastage, and identify areas for cost reduction.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- o Ensure that food safety and hygiene regulations are followed at all times.
- o Implement and enforce health and safety protocols for staff and customers.
- o Monitor and ensure that all equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the facility marketing team to promote food and beverage offerings through campaigns and events.
- Develop and implement promotional strategies to increase sales during low-demand periods.
Event Coordination:
- Plan and manage food and beverage services for special events and private events.
- Work with clients to customize food and beverage offerings for events and ensure smooth execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle customer complaints effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, health and safety regulations, and inventory management.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and control costs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of industry trends and ability to adapt to customer preferences
Educational Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is typically required.
- Certifications in food safety and alcohol service are required.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- The role involves a combination of office work and on-the-floor management, requiring both administrative tasks and hands-on supervision.
This role is crucial in ensuring that the food and beverage operations at TM Fit are running smoothly, providing high-quality services while maintaining financial success.
